Build Back Better Strategy Review

We are almost a third of the way through the second academic year of the BBB strategy.  Attached below is the original document and as you will note there is a commitment to review the impact of the strategy before the end of the second year. Therefore, we are launching a formal meaningful review of the strategy.  

It should be noted that the strategy is much bigger than 'extending the length of the school day', while we appreciate that most colleagues will have a view on that, we are equally looking for comment, feedback and evidence of impact or note across the strategy.

Once colleagues have had opportunity to discuss views, these should be submitted to principal@consortiumacademy.org in writing before the 17th December, the responses will be evaluated and themes that require investigation will be undertaken in the spring term.  

The consultation review will follow the following timeline:

22/11/21:  Formal launch of the review

17/12/21:  Phase 1 - initial consultation feedback complete.

17/01/22:  Discussion at ELT, common themes and potential lines of enquiry.

24/01/22:  Phase 2 - secondary consultation on proposed amendments

03/03/22:  Trust Strategy discussion - recommendations for amendment.

17/03/22:  Paper to Trust Board.

28/03/22:  Publish approved amendments to stakeholders.

08/06/22:  Presentation paper to JCC

01/09/22:  Implementation of any changes to routines, practices and policies.
