St George's Day

On April 23rd children and staff across the Consortium Trust joined with others across England to mark St George's Day by wearing their 'other' uniform.  To mark the national day and Patron Saint of England's service, members of the voluntary and uniformed services were encouraged to celebrate community engagement by coming to school in their non-school uniform.

Members of the Scouts and Guide Associations were joined by other organisations that included, Reserve forces, Special Police, St John's and Cadet forces to add a splash of colour and pride into our schools.  Andrew Aalders-Dunthorne, the Trust CEO and also a volunteer with the Scout movement commented “It is fabulous to see that so many of our pupils, staff and governance volunteers are also involved with lots of uniformed organisations that work in our community.”
