Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE)

The Consortium Trust recognises existing terms and conditions of both Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils and where possible, will enhance employees remuneration to fairly reflect the responsibility of their job roles.  As we are a cross county Trust, there will be some merging of conditions.

Measures:
  • The Consortium Trust recognises the GMB Union for support staff, in addition to UNISON (Suffolk Measure).

  • The Consortium Trust applies a Mobility Clause to all staff contracts, so that employees have the opportunity, with consultation, to work across other schools within the Trust.  Please refer to the  document below, for further information.

  • The Trust also offers a wellbeing scheme, including Child Care Voucher Scheme, through a third party provider.

  • The Trust has an Occupational Health Service provision through a third party provider.

  • Staff will be subject to The Consortium Trust pay scales at the prevailing Trust rate.

  • Staff are paid on the 19th of each month (Suffolk Measure).
