Teaching, Learning & Assessment Panel

The Consortium Trust has established a Teaching, Learning and Assessment Panel which involves strategic leaders and all the Academy Heads. 

It is here that school improvement support will start in terms of data analysis, curriculum planning and development, moderation and monitoring, CPD opportunities, and the collation of our collaborative working practices.  Meeting every half term, this Panel is a key influencer in our Trust, led by our Academy Heads.

The Academy process has supported us as rural community schools to develop a structure which will work for us and allow us to be sustainable.  It provides clear accountability and the ability for us to work closely together through the TLA Panel, so that issues are highlighted at an early stage and dealt with in a supportive manner.  This doesn’t mean that there won’t be a robust intervention if required.
