Swimming
At present, it is believed that 1:3 children leave primary school unable to swim the national curriculum requirement of 25m. This is the only compulsory element of the Physical Education National Curriculum.
Small cohorts within schools can have a big impact on percentages; therefore it is important to look at the number of pupils on roll, as well as specific year groups.
