Winterton
1st November 2018
The children’s day began with some bug hunting which taught the children about the different habitats, while giving them the opportunity to handle different bugs such as shield bugs and harvester spiders.
The children then had their break and when they returned split into two groups. One group became artists and used their imagination to create anything they wanted from natural materials they found around the outdoor area.
The other group undertook an archery session and tried to pop as many balloons as they could. After lunch the children undertook more 'skill at arms' such as fencing and air rifle shooting. The final challenge of the day was the children had to build their own habitat out of tarpaulin and rope.
We really enjoyed our day at Winterton and look forward to working more with the children and staff going forward.
