This term two commendations have been received, read below to find out how these staff members have gone beyond what is expected.

Thirza Dod, Henley Primary School

She does amazing work with her ELSA work and the progress the children she works with makes is incredible. On top of that, she always goes above and beyond to find and share new strategies to help the children she works with in class. She also helps me in her own time running the library and the reading scheme across both schools within the Greenfields Hub and she also runs the library at Henley. She is constantly supporting both Helmingham and Henley, even though she is solely based at Henley. She even takes time to write certificates to those children at Helmingham she has heard of making progress in areas she understands are a struggle for them. She is an asset to our team and we are super lucky to have her. I couldn't sing her praises enough. 

Phil Carr, Area Caretaker

Glebeland would like to nominate Phil Carr for his above and beyond professionalism in creating an amazing and purposeful environment for our future EYFS class.

He has organised the clearing of the room, repainted, placed boards, removed rubbish, fixed and painted fences and relocated furniture to create a wonderful clear class and outdoor space in a short period of time.

It really has transformed the space.

His attitude to getting it perfect for our children and staff to use has impressed us all as he has gone above and beyond, including cleaning the area when our cleaner was off sick.

It is a pleasure to have Phil working at Glebeland.
